The tour gives you a chance to see with your own eyes and compare Russia's two capitals - the old and the new. Moscow, the ancestral capital of the Tsars, was founded by Yiry Dolgoruky in 1147. It is build around the walled citadel of the Kremlin, a treasure house of ancient cathedrals, palaces and museums. Since 12th century Moscow has been the center of the Russian Empire. St-Petersburg, Russia's pride, a museum and a world in itself, was created by contrast out of nothing but will of one man - tsar Peter the Great. Call it as you wish - Northern Venice, Palmyra of the North, Northern Aurora. But none of these can fully express its beauty and fascinating elegance. Most of itineraries focus on Moscow -the center of current political transformation and St-Petersburg - the gorgeous Tsarist capital on the banks of Neva River. These cities are enjoyable at any time of year.

Day 1 Arrival in Moscow, transfer to the Hotel.

Day 2 City Tour round the most beautiful places of Moscow
Breakfast. (the Cathedral of St. Basil the Blessed, the Tverskaya street the most animated and saucy, the former headquarters of the KGB, University located in Lenin’s Hills considered to be the highest point of the city, Russian White House, Kutuzov street and the Victory Park with it’s fountains and churches) Return to the Hotel.

Day 3 Excursion to the Moscow Kremlin & Kremlin Cathedrals & Armory Chamber.
Breakfast. The Kremlin has always been perceived as a symbol of power & might of the Russian land. Each era of Russian history left it’s architectural mark on the Kremlin. Within the Kremlin walls there are many architectural monuments, churches, cathedrals, museums, etc.
*Lunch at the local restaurant. Walking tour of the Tverskaya & Arbat streets (see the famous street of artists and souvenir stalls) + Metro Tour to enjoy its gorgeous stations decorated with sculptures, glass, colored marble and bronze chandeliers.
Return to the Hotel.
*Evening performance: Circus

Day 4 * The Tretyakov State Gallery
Breakfast. Check-out.
*The Tretyakov State Gallery - one of the world’s largest museums, a treasure house of old Russian art from the 11th cent. till our days. The gallery bears the name of its founder, Pavel Tretyakov, a rich Russian manufacturer and patron of art. He presented his collection to the city of Moscow in 1892. Now the Tretyakov Gallery holds more than 50000 works of painting, graphic art and sculpture. Evening transfer to the Railway Station.
Overnight sleep train to St .Petersburg.

Day 5 Arrival to St. Petersburg (07:55 am).
*Early breakfast at the local restaurant. Panoramic City Tour – all major city highlights in the course of three hours tour including visit to Peter & Paul Fortress, the first building of the city, a gorgeous monument of architecture. Transfer to the Hotel, accommodation.
*Evening performance – Folk show with fourchette at Nikolaevsky Palace. Transfer to/from evening performance.

Day 6 Hermitage Museum
Breakfast. Excursion to the Hermitage Museum - the Hermitage ranks among the world's major museums. Its collection consists of nearly three million art objects. Exhibits are displayed in the Winter Palace, as well as the Small, Old and New Hermitages. Concerts and ballet performances are given in the former Hermitage Theater. The Hermitage collection has six departments: West European art, the Antique world, primitive culture, Oriental culture and art, the history of Russian culture, as well as numismatics.

Day 7 Grand Summer Palace & Park in Petrodvorets
Breakfast. Tour of Grand Summer Palace & Park in Petrodvorets – official summer residence of the Russian Emperors in the past. It is one of the most known palatial complexes in the environs of St. Petersburg. In good weather it is well worth spending here minimum 4-5 hours, enjoying the various palaces, the parks and the sea view. The history of Petrodvorets begins in 1704 when Peter I built a wooden house on the Gulf while overseeing the construction of the nearby Kronstadt Fortress. In 1713 he began transforming the area into an imperial residence. Petrodvorets includes several other mini-museums of interest which are also worth seeing due to it’s architectural and historic importance.

Day 8 Departure transfer.

Tour dates are flexible. Tours can be customized to your taste. We can include additional excursions or performances on your request. We can also mix and match and adjust the accommodation to any hotel of your choice.

To book a tour, 50% of the tour amount is due on the day of tour booking. The remaining 50% of the tour amount is due within 14 days before your arrival in Russia or the city that the tour is scheduled for.
