We can't say enough good things about our trip. It was so wonderful that we are hoping we'll be able to return next May or June. Thank you for all your help with the arrangements. The apartment was ideally located. We couldn't have been much more convenient to the Hermitage unless we'd rented a room in the Winter Palace. The apartment was perfectly comfortable. Everyone we dealt with as a result of your arrangements for us- guide, drivers, realty personnel- was thoroughly helpful and competent. The night at the Mariinsky Theater was a high point. The theater is so beautiful and our seats were right down in the very front row of the orchestra, better than we ever expected. If I had ordered orchestra front row seats on the internet, I would have paid more dearly. If we manage go back, we'll be hoping you can work the same miracle again for us. It will probably be January before we're ready to start new travel plans. I certainly will be back in touch with you once we figure if we can manage a return trip in 2005. In the meantime, I can think of only one loose end. I believe I can get some Delta skymiles credits for our trip. What do I need to do to make this happen? This trip was a real dream come true for me and happily my husband was thoroughly hooked as well. Our daughter and niece loved the trip too, but are not likely to be able to repeat it anytime soon.

I want to thank you very much for the services. My next day arrival: VIP services person and the driver met and took me to the Aerostar hotel. You made my late arrival so much easier. The Aerostar was excellent. They were most gracious to my girlfriend and the room was quite comfortable. On my return your driver met us at the train station and he was quite good. Again the VIP service was helpful and the lounge a blessing as we had to wait 6 hours due a flight delay. I had a most enjoyable trip and came to really like Russia and particularly Penza where I may have been the only American.

They were great – I was a very difficult customer, having to change my flight several times and constantly bugging them to get me the shortest flying route (I hate to fly!) and they were the soul of patience with me. When we got to Moscow, they had a driver pick us up and take us around to see the sights, as we had about 12 hours until our flight to Perm. I would not hesitate to use them again!

Have any of you used Go To Russia, the travel agency in Atlanta? I would love to hear any positive or negative experiences. I have enjoyed looking at their website http://www.gotorussia.net and found it very informative. Also I have been calling various travel agencies to get a ball park price range for airfare. They were very nice to me on the
phone answering all my questions. So far I've been impressed with them, but I would love to hear from folks who have actually used their services.
I have been looking into travel agencies, which could handle our flight to Russia plus our domestic flight in Russia. A number of families who have used our adoption agency have used All Ways in NYC. Due to our adoption agency's policy we will have to use them for our visas. So far, All Ways has not been very helpful to me. When I called to ask some questions such as ball park airfares for our travel season, their policy was not to talk to me on the phone, but for me to fill out an inquiry form on their website. I did so 2 weeks ago and have never heard from them. Any of you had any positive or negative experience lately with All Ways?

Rather than asking about airlines, you should ask about travel agents. Some of them, such as www.gotorussia.net are very good at finding low fares for people adopting from Russia (or not). The adoption fares are not always the lowest fares.

I want to thank you again for the arrangements you made for our trip to Russia. The Lufthansa flight was very comfortable, and all the transfers to and from airports worked perfectly well. It was very convenient having an English-speaking guide and a van just for our small group of eight. The drivers were prompt and patient and the guides well trained. We went to all major museums and the side trips from Moscow and St. Petersburg were very pleasant and educational. We also were lucky to see one of the last performances in the Bolshoi before they closed the theater for renovations.
My students were overwhelmed by the whole experience and they all plan to go back to Russia some time in the future.
As the tour director, I feel very confident that your Russian partners are able to organize and customize trips for any kind of groups. I'm already planning to take another group (probably of senior citizens) next year.

I arranged all of her and our 3 1/2 year old daughter's domestic travel within Russia with the Go To Russia company in Atlanta, GA. They arranged transport between Sheremetyevo 2 and Domodedovo, delivery of her domestic tickets, hotel stay and flight itinerary and it went off without a hitch and my wife is safely with her family in Blagoveschensk.
